  2. I think he is an innovator as the light bulb was already invented but he improved on the original invention so he is an innovator.

  5. I think he is a innovator as he only improved on others invention. He improved the light bulb that was already created earlier on into a better and more longer lasting one.

innovator as he made the life span of the bulb longer so he made an improvement to the previous light bulb which could only last a few days or less.

  8. I think he is an innovator as light bulb has already invented but he make the invention even better.

  9. I think he is an innovator. I am sure that it is not invented by him as he took another person's idea and IMPROVED on it. Improvement to another person's idea is innovating, if you thought the idea yourself, you can call it an invention.

  10. innovator, as Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb, he just made it more practical.

  11. He is an inventor because invention also includes improvement of an existing object. Thomas Edison improved the early light bulb( which lasted 150 hours) to the modern light bulb (which lasted a lot more than 150 hours. Thus Thomas Edison is an inventor. --By Darren Teo

  13. He is an innovator because he improved the idea of the light bulb to make it more long lasting but he did not come up with that idea.

  14. I think he is an inventor as he improved the electrical light bulb into a much form and could patent it thus I think he is an inventor.

  16. He is a innovator as he improved on the oil lap to make it a electric light bulb

  17. An innovator.Since the first light bulb had already been patented and made,Edison only improvised on his idea further to make it electrically powered.

  18. He is a innovator because he improved on the first lightbulb to create a longer lasting lightbulb instead of making the first lightbulb.

  21. think that he is a innovator as the first person who created the light bulb could only make it last for a few hours but Thomas Edison improved on that idea and made the light bulb last a few times longer and also the definition of an inventor is someone who came out with something new and previously undiscovered.

  22. He is an inventor as his invention could be patented. When you patent something it needs to be original, so his invention was a original one.

  23. He is an inventor as there were two previous types of the light bulb; and he improved on the previous inventions.
because of his improvement, the light bulb lasted longer.

  25. I think Thomas Edison's was an innovator as he improved the electric light bulb by using different types of materials instead of the ones used the past. He also used a new way to create the long lasting electric light bulb.

  26. i believe he is an inventor as the invention means to improve and existing method or device, so since he improved the light bulb i believe he is an inventor....

  27. I think that Thomas Edison was an inventor. The meaning of invention is the makings of a new method or device. Thomas Edison founded a new method to make the lightbulb last longer, so it is an invention.

  28. But at that same time, I think that Thomas Edison was an innovator for he improved the product.
