  2. Coca Cola used to be a non-carbonated syrup that was claimed to be a medicine. The first type of coca cola had cocaine in it. In 1887, some guy bought the formula for coca cola and sold it as a commercial carbonated soft drink.

Dr Spencer Silver was trying to make a strong adhesive for the company 3M, but failed as the adhesive was very weak. So he put it on pieces of paper and sold it as post-its as they could be posted and removed from surfaces without causing any damage to the surface.

  7. I have learnt that it was invented by DR John Pemberton, a pharmacist. The idea was to invent a nerve tonic, but instead of mixing it with wine, he used sugar. It was invented when he accidentally spilled Soda water into American Soda.

  8. Human error might not always be a bad one.
Coca cola wasn't very famous at first but because of that human error, the drink became very famous

  9. coca-cola was actually a non-carbonated drink which was used to treat illness then carbonated water and syrup was added to the coco-cola formula to form the coke we know and love today

  10. Coca-Cola was an accident as the doctor who invented the remedy told his assistant to add more water to the mixture but instead he added carbonated water which made it fizzy. The drink tasted so good that they decided to sell it as a drink rather than a remedy.

  11. CoCa CoLa was a tonic and made into CoCa CoLa by adding some stuff.

Spencer Silver was at church one Sunday. He needed to mark his place in his hymnbook and thought how handy it would be if the bookmark stuck to the page but could then be removed easily. He developed the idea, and quickly discovered that Post-it notes were useful not only as bookmarks but for all sorts of other things too.

  12. It was invented by Dr Spence Silver who was looking for a way to improve 3M's adhesive It was an adhesive that formed itself into tiny spheres with a diameter of a paper fiber. The spheres would not dissolve, could not be melted and were very sticky individually.

  17. Spencer Silver had discovered a very weak glue that was reusable and easily removed from paper without leaving a mark. Silver tried to think of a use for his seemingly useless glue, but couldn’t.

Eventually, Arthur Fry came up with an idea for using the glue while he was at church one Sunday. He needed to mark his place in his bible and thought how handy it would be if the bookmark stuck to the page but could then be removed easily. He developed the idea, and quickly discovered that Post-it notes were useful not only as bookmarks but for all sorts of other things too.

  26. I have learnt that the coca-cola was invented when a doctor and his assistant was making a remedy for a headache cure. But the assistant accidentally added carbonated water and that was how coca-cola was invented.

For the Post-it, it came about when a guy wanted to make a strong adhesive glue, but it did not work. So he tried it on some pieces of paper and it soon became post-it.
